What we collect

• The address you look up, and the roof data and design for it.
• Bill amounts, usage, utility and rate plan you enter.
• If you ask for quotes: your name, email, phone and answers about your home.
• If you email a report to someone else: their email address, used once to send it.
• Basic usage analytics to improve the tool.

What we do with it

We use it to calculate your results, save and share them when you ask, and introduce you to one installer when you ask for quotes. We share your details with that installer only, and only after you agree on the quote form.

Consent and email

Consent to be contacted by an installer is separate from consent to our marketing email, and both are optional checkboxes we record with the date and wording you saw. You can withdraw either by replying to any email from us.

Where it’s stored

In Canada, on our database provider’s Canadian region. Bill uploads, when offered, are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

Ask us to see, correct or delete your information at privacy@solarmybill.com. If you’ve been introduced to an installer, we’ll ask them to delete it too.
